Are you acquainted with the name of Andrew Carnegie?
Do you know that he was the most affluent, successful and richest man of his time?
He wanted to share the secret of his success with the commoners.
Towards this end, he engaged the best writer (whose name will be disclosed at the end of this review) who lived in his age to author the secrets of success and riches. The author concocted a beautiful story around the theories revealed to him and created this masterpiece

There are books that enjoy mass readership while there are some hidden gems that are not known to the multitude.
"The Master Key to Riches" is one such cloaked treasure.
As title describes that the book divulges the mantras of conquering wealth. The author indicates the path that can take an ordinary person to achieve extraordinary heights of success and affluence.
In the prologue, the book elucidates the fact that IN SPITE BEING TYPE CASTED AS A SELF-CANTERED MOTIVE, THE CRAVING FOR MATERIAL POSSESSIONS IS INDEED A NATURAL HUMAN TENDENCY. (Not final)
Conventionally, success and wealth have been perceived as entwined ends. The verdict of a person’s success generally makes a mention of his financial prosperity and thus money has been the most commonly used measure to gauge one’s success and achievements. He is more successful who has more money. Not only in old time, rather still today maximum people use this gauge to measure success and they think that riches are successful.
This book teaches the route to wealth in such way so that readers become really successful.
The book begins by clarifying that, “Wealth does not imply material comforts, money or bank balance only”.
The writer delves deeper into this thought and states that, “Wealth constitutes twelve kinds of riches. A man who possesses all of them can manage to attain an incredible echelon of wealth and success”.
Naturally, this would generate apprehensions in your mind regarding the complexity of the rules for success. Who can think that it is easy to become successful as Andrew Carnegi?
But, the author through Carnegi, reassured in the starting of book, “The rules to get twelve kinds of riches and to become wealthy are not complex. Rather every mortal on earth has the potential to attain what Andrew Carnegie has by applying the techniques enlisted in the book”.
Nonetheless, we would like to clarify that this book does not advocate the use of any deceitful means to attain wealth and success.
It makes use of lucid and comprehensible vocabulary to deliver on its very realistic promises.
It would be worth mentioning that the techniques that are sermonized in the book find their implication in moulding human behavior and his habits.
Further, the writer is successful in driving home the point that success is not a matter of destiny but of habits. If a person grows habitual of living a life of limited means then he would lose all zeal to fight his circumstances given he has adjusted himself to his economic condition. Whereas, in case the fire to accomplish success is still ablaze then you can obtain the desired riches by applying the mantras given in the book.
The book is a compilation of anecdotes and experiences of innumerable wealthy and enviably successful people of the world which would prove to be very relatable to the reader.
Now we shall talk about the creator of this miraculous piece of literary self-help. Before revealing the identity of the author of this book, let us learn more about Andrew Carnegie’s meeting with him.
In the first meeting with the author, Andrew asked if he were offered an opportunity to contribute to the development of a revolutionary philosophy, would he grab it and prefer it over the goal of his personal and professional success.
Without any second thoughts, the author accepted the offer saying he would definitely undertake such a task. It took him just 29 seconds to answer that question while Andrew had earmarked 60 seconds for this question and had resolved that if the question wasn’t answered in those 60 seconds, he would hand over the task to someone else. But the author’s quick and promising reply earned him the name and fame that this book was destined to earn.
Andrew blatantly refused to remunerate the author although the author had had a conception that the world’s richest man would offer him an exorbitant sum of money for writing the book. The reason for not paying the author was indeed justified- he was checking the author’s will to walk the extra mile in contributing to the bigger ends without expecting any monetary gain.
The author did an illustrious job in shaping up the book and realizing Andrew’s dream of sharing the secret of success with the world.
You must be wondering as to who this selfless author is. You’ve already met him when you embarked on your journey to success.
He is none other than ‘Napoleon Hill’- the renowned author of the bestseller
‘Think And Grow Rich’. The book being analyzed i.e.
'The Master Key to Riches' is perhaps an extension to what has been told in
‘Think And Grow Rich’. The current book takes care of the behavioral aspect of the concepts of the earlier book. It is recommended that you must read the current book if you have already read the earlier book.
